This Friday, VanRamblings will publish a story on the upcoming Telluride, Venice, Toronto and New York Film Festivals, and in each successive Friday in September will publish a VIFF 2026 story, covering facets of this year’s festival.

Come early October, it is our intention to write about the current Vancouver municipal election Monday thru Thursday, and dedicate Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays to coverage of the 45th annual 2026 Vancouver International Film Festival, on October 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 9th, 10th and 11th.
